Toscano Pizzeria Changes Ownership After 45 Years
45 years after Toscano Pizzeria opens its doors, the original owners are selling the pizzeria to life-long resident and Santa Rosa native.
Santa Rosa, CA – Nov. 1, 2025 – Frank and Jeanette Toscano, original owners of Toscano Pizzeria, are selling their restaurant and retiring after 45 years of serving their community hot and fresh New York style pies. John Boyd, a life-long Santa Rosa resident who grew up eating at Toscano Pizzeria, purchased the business from the couple in October and plans to add new pizza toppings to the menu. The community is invited to a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony at the pizzeria on Dec. 1, visit (hyperlink) for more information.
John Boyd, Santa Rosa native, and new owner of Toscano Pizzeria, will be adding some highly requested pizza toppings to the menu:
· Pineapple chunks
· Ham slices
· Jalapeño pepper slices
· Bacon crumbles
The new toppings will become available Dec. 1, on the day of the ribbon cutting ceremony which will feature live music performed by a local band, merchandise giveaway, and 15% discount on all food and drink.
For Frank and Jeanette, the sale of the restaurant is bittersweet, "My wife and I have always put our community first, making sure that we provide a pleasant place for our disabled neighbors to work, and quality food for our community to eat," says Frank. The couple plans to stay involved in the restaurant's operation for several months after the sale to facilitate a smooth transition and to ensure that customer satisfaction is upheld. “I understand that I could never replace Frank and Jeanette, but I will do my best to continue their commitment to quality and community, and to let their legacy live on,” says John. John, Frank and Jeanette invite everyone to come out to the ribbon cutting ceremony on Dec. 1, visit (hyperlink) for details.
